Frequently asked questions

What do I get with a project?

Each project gets its own SQLite database, real-time WebSocket support, and a minimal REST API. You can create collections (tables), manage rows via API or SDK, and subscribe to insert/update/delete events. Auth (OTP) and storage (buckets) are coming soon.

Can I use this with my stack?

Yes. The REST API works with any HTTP client. We provide a small JavaScript/TypeScript SDK for browser and Node. You can use OnlyBase with React, Next.js, Remix, or any framework.

Who owns the data?

You do. Your data is encrypted at rest. We provide the connection, encryption, and backups; you own the content. Export and backups are available so you can leave anytime.

What are the limits?

Starter: 2 projects, 1 GB DB, 100k API requests/month. Unlimited: more projects, 15 GB DB, 2M requests/month. See the pricing page for full details.
